Moving On To A Place I Don't Belong

Rating: 5.0

I looked at the moon last night
but you were not there
I cast you away like I didn't care
I thought I could replace you
all my dreams wrapped up in a ball
I took them with me
Not one but all
and you sat quietly
and you listened to what I had to say
that there could not be you and me another day
all the while you didn't believe
that I would ever leave
and as I moved to another life
I realized that you were right
that there could never be a happier me
than to be yours only
