Music Poem by Jennifer Birchall

Music

Rating: 4.5

It does something to me
Brings out every emotion
Can bring me to tears
It takes me to a place in the past
Dancing up and down with my Dad to John Lennon's Starting Over
I can remember the songs I sang to my babies
I can remember the songs me and my boys sang along to
I can remember the music my beautiful Dad walked me down the isle to Adagio for Strings
I can remember dancing the night away in clubs
I remember drunken talks whilst listening to Coldplay
The festivals I went, listening to Muse in the tent
The singing so loud in the car to 80's greatest hits
Wembley with Ed Sheeran
It fills my soul, it's memories, it's love
Without music I don't know where I'd be

I feel the same about music, it brings back memories of times gone by, It feels the heart. Much enjoyed.

What a feeling music gives. I couldn't be with out it either. Music heals the soul. I am in a choir and we are currently practicing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Sounds Amazing.

A nice poem. Yeah seem you are an ardent music lover. That is great. Me too. Listening to favorite singers sometimes give peace to mind. Loved the poem. Thanks for sharing.
