Music Is Ethereal - Poem by Walterrean Salley

Heard, felt and gently entwined-
But never seen anywhere.
Music, like a velvet wind,
Resonates through the air.

The rhythm and sweet melody
Finds its way into the heart
Where lovely blended harmony
Forever is a part.

Ahh! Music is right spirited;
A balm for the jaded soul.
Lulling, soothing and calming,
In its efforts to console.

Beautiful music is a gem.
Fine music is as gold.
An inspiration to the young.
As well—healing for the old.
