Muster All The Strength Deep Within My Core - Poem by Daya Nandan

Heaviness within me every time i wake,
That weighs me down, it makes me ache,
Despite the dreams, the heaviness is always there,
A weight within me when i wake to the morning air,

It’s a battle each day to make my body light,
Physical and mental stamina getting ready for a fight,
It weighs me down, it weakens my body and mind
To rid of it, sitting down in focus is all i can find

Muster all the strength deep within my core,
And all my mental stamina to be ready for this war,
A constant battle that i shall face till my last breath,
One that will only stop upon my mortal death

But it’s alright for a true man can withstand natures hit,
For the weight is removed every time i take a shit,
Mass for a month weighs more than a camel’s hump,
A shame that you had to read a poem about me taking a dump.
