My Baby Girl Poem by LaRon Green Sr.

My Baby Girl

Rating: 4.5

My Baby Girl
When I saw you born
You was a pearl to me
Holding you
Was like no other
Crying for your loving
I dive
learning a lesson
as I strive
Being here on earth with me
You set my soul free
happy to see you born
I victory
As I climb a tree
Daddy need you here
Safe and warm
Wrap in a cover
After you left your mother womb
Blood, Sweat, Tears
Boom
The light shine on you
I was in tune
I cried
One tear
I tried
Seeing you born
Was like me coming out my mother womb
Knowing what I been through
You are a blessing to me
One dad not left in the gutter
No tomb stone for me
Olivia-Ariel LaRiyra Green
My Baby Girl
You set me free! ! ! !

A lovely poem by a doting dad. A well penned piece from the heart. Thanks for sharing.
