My Cat - Poem by beth vicent

my cat got very fat
and never saw a bat
but always chased a rat
sometimes that was my cat

but one day i had to say bye
then i started to cry
then i never told any one a lie
thou she could never fly

she had to move house
where there is a turtle and a mouse
then i started to tell lies
but in the end she had to die
