My Contribution To The World Poem by Moriah Lederman

My Contribution To The World

Rating: 5.0

It is not invention, discoveries
Or Such
That live on in my name

Like the Amaranthine Flower that never fades
My love for them remains

The Future so they say…
Like a candle I must light them on their way.

The sons and daughters of invention they will be
My progeny

Good reminder. We all have something to contribute even though it might not be recognized, acknowledged or appreciated.

The poem touches me. I've reached a place where I feel like the possibility of children has passed. Uriah
