My Destiny - Poem by Queeny Gona

All these days i went around the world
Hoping to seek joy and peace.
Out of all my tender pursuit;
I found myself chained in desolate kingdom.
Money, time, trust whatnot everything
I lost; yet my pursuit in vain.
Now to regret is too futile
In such desperate vibes, I sought after
The word of LORD, where I achieved my goal!

    the peace and tranquility and joy that we find in our relationship with God, we shall never find in worldly things.
    materiality does not bring peace....... you have taught us a great truth dear poetess. tony

    A delicate poem about following the right path in life, showered in Light, rather than the wrong one symbolised by money, regrets and sadness. I enjoyed reading it. 10 +++ (Report) Reply

    What happiness we fail to find in worldly things..... we are able to find in God's love! An irrefutable truth! Really enjoyed the assertion of this truth in your poem Queeny! (Report) Reply
