My Destiny Poem by Queeny Gona

My Destiny

Rating: 4.9

All these days i went around the world
Hoping to seek joy and peace.
Out of all my tender pursuit;
I found myself chained in desolate kingdom.
Money, time, trust whatnot everything
I lost; yet my pursuit in vain.
Now to regret is too futile
In such desperate vibes, I sought after
The word of LORD, where I achieved my goal!

What happiness we fail to find in worldly things..... we are able to find in God's love! An irrefutable truth! Really enjoyed the assertion of this truth in your poem Queeny!

Hi Queeny, your poem is exquisite. Well articulated, beautifully crafted, and neatly penned. Another addition to my favourite. Kudos. Please have a look at my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

To say that your pursuit of destiny was TENDER is a poignant description. Sad and desolate though it may have been, I truly believe it was part of the process that cleansed your heart and allowed you to be numbered among God's children.
