My Life - Poem by Yedu Krishnas
My life is a journey,
a journey through a desert,
a desert, where 'yes' means 'no'.
there where oasis,
there where palm shades,
but bygone memories could not give,
me a lasting shade.
from now my lines have no rhythm,
from now my words are just words,
from now proof of life is the blood from eyes.
i lost the beauty of joy,
i lost the sound of temple bell,
i lost the peace of my village,
i lost all.....
its my fate i think...
and i think...
fate approves no alternations
