My Love Melted In These Asian Pears Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

My love is melted in these Asian pears
Which I slice to your appropriate bite sizes.
With a sharp peeling knife, I remove their brown skins.
These pears are full and round, nicely fit in my palm.
After peeling, I divide the fruits.
After a taste bite, I save the best ones for you, my Dear.
They are so delicious that after one bite, it's hard to resist.
After peeling and slicing, I divide the pears in two equal shares.
These pears are grown in Annville Paradise
With my love melted in the pulps inside their brown skins.
By absorbing mists and winds
And with good rains and sun lights,
These pears are tasty and crunchy.
From the blossom time to harvest time
Many bees and butterflies frequented these pear trees.
Many times I trimmed the pear branches
Many times I dreamed of bringing you these delicious pears.
These tasty pears are special fruits from my garden.
They are results of my cross grafting between Asian and Western pears.
Many times I tended these fruit trees with tender care
Many times I infused my love into these pears
As special gifts for you, my Dear.

TÌNH ANH TRONG TRÁI LÊ TẦU

Tình anh trong trái lê tầu
Lê này anh cắt cho vừa miếng ăn.
Vỏ nâu, dao sắc gọt quanh
Trái lê tròn trịa, ôm vừa lòng tay.
Gọt xong, bổ trái chia phần
Cắn vào ngon miệng, lê này tặng Mai.
Ăn một rồi lại ăn hai
Lê này anh gọt, chia hai phần đều.
Lê này, địa-phúc Annville
Da nâu, thịt trắng, gói nhiều yêu thương.
Lê này thu góp gió sương
Tắm mưa sưởi nắng, trái ngon và dòn.
Từ ngày cây mới ra bông
Tới ngày trái chín, bướm ong đi về.
Bao lần cắt tỉa cành lê
Mơ ngày hái trái mang về tặng Mai.
Lê ngon, đặc sản vườn này
Bởi vì anh tháp lê Tầu, lê Tây.
Bao năm chăm sóc vườn cây
Tình anh nuôi trái, lê này tặng Mai.
