Where have you gone, my radiant friend,
I miss your warming smile.
Just seeing you I start to mend,
When you've been gone a while.
I miss your caress, when you're away,
My world is grey and cold.
I look to you to warm my day,
You're worth more to me than gold.
There is no life, without your smile,
Without your radiance divine.
I worship you, like an awestruck child,
You are benevolent and kind.
Giver of life, a deity you could be,
Worshipped in times of old.
You chase the night and make it flee,
Your warmth banishes the cold.

The sentiment in this poem is very sweet- I especially like the last line your warmth banishes the cold. and also You chase the night and make it flee-whoever this was written for must be very touched. All of your poems are so sensitive and so warm- you have a heart of gold- I hope you are doing well- Claudia
