My Secret Love Of A Singer Poem by Amy Marie

My Secret Love Of A Singer

A soft sun rose inside my glee –
Promising dawn and ecstacy –
Only because he sang my song.

Dark clouds morphed into waterfalls –
Which washed away confining walls –
Only because he sang my song.

Ten thousand stars weren't far from here –
Yet did estrange my every fear –
Only because he sang my song.

Secrecy hugged me with tough arms –
To show illusions of no charms –
But inside my smile sang along.
