My Tears Have Dried Up. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

My Tears Have Dried Up.

Rating: 5.0

I want to cry
but I cannot.

I searched for tears
my tears have dried up.

Where are my parents?
Where are my brothers?
I am alone in this
vast world of human beings.

Why is this world so cruel?

Has not God made it a paradise?

The poem very aptly depicts the scene in the accompanying picture. Yes, it seems sometimes that the tears have dried up, but otherwise if life is made of tears there are cheers as well. A good poem indeed.

Parents and brothers did what they thought was good for the world. It is incumbent upon each individual to nurture the spirit of love and compassion for common good. Thanks a lot, Sir.
