** My Twilight Dreams **
When shades of twilight
close day’s bright
And when in my solitude
close my eyes light
Then youre that,
a guiding light multitude
Your glow and sight
lights my smile’s bright
You are one beam
the only one
And in you I have
all those infinite dreams
The mascara of my eyes frame
outlines your sublime name
The twinkle in your eyes
Intoxicates my heart’s sighs
You make for me
The stars in heaven shine
And bid the moon
to wane in crescents divine?
And I let the tambourines
and the jingle of my anklets
Dance in tune
That heaven’ s rune
Like the kiss of the waves all tourmaline
O let the Cherubium and Seraphim
Be witness to my whims
This elysian magical evening
My euphoric twilight song
Need I shout from tops of,
Mountains, hills and roofs,
Tell the tornadoes,
the gusts, the storms
Declare it to the world
That I love you
But the time
has come ye not
when the master
seals the picture
the canvas
With his signature
the tips of his brush’s ligature.
Now as my eyes
with sleep lower
And let sleep come
And take me over
Neither will I ask
of thee beloved night
O why
Swift be thy
approaching flight?
Cos in the net of my dreams,
your fleeting light streams
And I as I sink afar
in that nocturnal bliss
and will not miss
as my soul rises in unison
the twinkling of the stars
as in heaven’s garrison
Where under your brightest shine
My nocturnal dreams begin.
