Myself Poem by Deepti Agarwal

Myself

Rating: 5.0

Today is the need to look
deep within This living book
that I call Myself.

Let me dust off the corner
& lift it down from Life's high shelf;
Dig deep into forgoten chapters
which long ago ceased.

Let me bring them to light
the secrets never exposed;
Let me study it for lesson
That should be recorded there.

Test them for its value -
were they Honest? Fair?

Let me search the answer
why this book is on high shelf -
I hope to find the reason
For this book I call Myself.

Greatest loss in life is Loss of one's own self It happens so slowly that Never it gives any clue.. Beware... Look deep into it Learn it through inner vision Keep it alive, healthy At any cost. Good reasoning gleams in this poem. Nice one. Thank you.
