In slumber as I lay
Most beautiful dream came my way
It was such a mystical night
Far from this world, the stars shone bright
I followed my dream and lost my way
Jumping through the hills and fields I say
Then came to a place I can't recall.
In the middle of the forest I entered a hall
Scared as hell, I entered the room
Saw a few faces who were lost I assume
After a pause... I asked and was told
Follow that door it will lead you she swore
I did as I was told and sat in a bus
That would take me home and the rest of us.
The mystical journey now began
Before God made this angelic clan
I sat by the window and what I saw
Hard to imagine and left me in an awe
The fields stretched far and wide
Then came the animals with great pride
From elephants to giraffes, zebras and lions
Dinosaurs that walked without any compliance
It was just the animal kingdom that stretched
And with the last deep groan my breath had fetched.
A refined poetic imagination, Meena. You may like to read my poem, Love And Iust. Thank you.
I hope there is room on the bus for me because that is the kind of ride I envisioned it would be. A most beautiful written poem with a heavenly promise. Ingeborg

A nice imagery of words, of the mystical journey you had! The poem begins well, but at a later stage it seems that more emphasis was given in search of rhyme than the natural flow of words. Yet, it is a good poem to read and recite.9/10.
