Nastiness Poem by David Harris

Nastiness

Some people can be nasty
when they talk to others,
being very abrupt
at any question asked
and hurting feelings
in what they say.
Nastiness thankfully
is not contagious
and is only used by a few
who think they are superior
in whatever they do.
Sadly, their behaviour
just demeans them into ridicule
and friends depart quickly
leaving them quite lonely
with no one to turn to.
