And you thought camels store water in their humps?
There is SOME truth in that.
But something else is stored in those big bumps:
What's mostly stored is fat.
Kim, Do YOU know the type of camel you've pictured and in which country the photo was likely taken? ? ITHINK I rode on a camel once at a Niagara Falls, Canada, 'game farm & aquarium'.
You can't tell from the picture if the camel has only one hump or two, so no, I don't know the type of camel in the picture.
Bri, I downloaded that picture off the internet almost ten years ago to post with a different poem. I never knew what country it was.
You THINK you rode a camel? I KNOW I would remember if I had ever ridden a camel (I haven't) .
