Necklace Kink Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Necklace Kink

Am I asking for too much?
A moment of your time, to be together
Again.
Somethings never change.
Memories running in the clasp
Of your hand.
Stretched and linked around my neck
Escaping the tantrums of the world.
Don't say it's too much, the miles
Enclosing to a single stare.
A warm kiss to a tender heart.
Satisfied thoroughly
Exploring a dream with closed eyes,
Afraid that at any moment
It'll end & you're nowhere
To be found.
The cling of skin and the patter
Of necklace charm hitting my chest.
I wish you didn't have to leave
So soon.
Somethings never change,
& I can't get this kink out of my
Necklace
