Neighborly Violence Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Neighborly Violence

Rating: 5.0

Wholesome and fed,
Neighborly violence.
As biases are kept discussed,
In gated communities.
Protecting those disgusted,
By deceptions heard to hear...
Coming from promoted,
Conservative ideals.
And weaponized to protect,
Themselves and defend.
Against those told are threats,
To a way of life.
These neighbors of violence,
Will travel miles to express...
Their anger to address it.
With a destroying,
Of the capitol of justice.
And other cities representing,
This same justice to premit.
Yet...
Destroy as much of it,
As they can.
If and when even known,
Someone they had called...
Their leader to follow,
Gave them directions.
And...
Not to benefit them at all.
But to show their devotion,
To someone known to lie...
Deceive, fraud, betray them.
With a throwing their loyalty,
Under a bus to crush.
While they approve the doing,
Of treason in their faces...
Applauded, cheered and done!
Yet...
Will travel to threaten,
The lives of the ones...
Protecting their entitlements.
And freedoms to choose,
How to ruin their own...
Quality of life.
Made to dislike its diversity.
Accepted.
Until...
A frauding demon,
Began to entertain the idea.

'Comeon! People are not,
THAT stupid! '
