Neurology Of Variable Depth Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Neurology Of Variable Depth

It's been quite a while since I looked at the sky.
I peered into the ocean colored sky, day dreaming about you.
I thought of the clouds and wondered
How I've built my life around you.
If I've truly dwelled in the depth of your eyes.
The softness of the snow toppled hills in the sky.
This migration of deep need, softly sailing.
I saw my reflection there in the clouds.
The wind gently lulls. Dismissed of it's occupation.
Curiously sailing with the thought of you.
A not so distant memory, sitting here day dreaming about you.
The rope and the shackles rattled,
The wind caught a hold of the sail and there you went.
Imploring an act of faith, of mutual trust.
Without fear of falling.
In a sea of shimmering white.
An Illustration of the thoughts that come and go,
Sitting here day dreaming of you
