...Never Said Goodbye
it's pouring this afternoon
with flashes and loud boom
went to close my car windows
i was wet, dripping statue
when brown puppy came to me
followed me wherever i go
i open garage; let her stay
we watch rain and water flow
give crackers doesn't like to
she look at me with cozzy eyes
she was waiting for somebody
then a gray van came she run
