J-ust never turn a blind mind,
O-ften open it instead;
N-o time for dereliction,
A-s you have a wiser head.
G-reet the day with optimism,
A-fter the dark night is gone;
Y-our birthday has come,
R-eappearing is the dawn.
A-nother morn has broken,
M-oment is there to find;
O-n the fourth of September,
N-ever turn a blind mind.
