New Tricks; Or, An Old Person Considers Computers, Cell Phones, Mp3s, Dvds Etc. Poem by Pete Crowther

New Tricks; Or, An Old Person Considers Computers, Cell Phones, Mp3s, Dvds Etc.

Rating: 5.0

'You can't teach an old dog
new tricks', they say, pathetically,
expecting you to nod and agree;
nod I might to be polite
but in my mind I'm thinking:
'What a lot of bloody rubbish! '

Pete, I love it. And I pity the fool who tries to patronise you! Hugs Anna xxx PS Since you've sussed them out, could you please give lessons to this 27yr old!

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said, 'I MAY BE SLOW, BUDDY, BUT I'M AHEAD OF YOU! ' I'm 64 and just this year I learned 'Computer Speaking, ' so possibly there is hope for us Old Dogs to learn New Tricks....Thanks for the laugh, Pete..loved it!

give the dog to a new owner and you will see he soon will learn to live with a new master. the dog pays loyalty to only the one who feeds him daily.
