Nice Day Poem by Francis Duggan

A beautiful day of only a slight breeze
And birds chirping and singing on the sunlit trees
In the blue sky woolly looking cumulus of gray
For April the first quite a beautiful day
The flute like songs so melodious and clear
Of the magpies who sing every day of the year
And the laughter of children in the park as they play
Youth does have it's joys as the wise one does say
Nature at her finest is all around me
Wherever i turn to look her beauty i do see
The park and the trees looking green and the songs of the birds pleasant to hear
Earthly Utopia to this place does have to be near
In the sunny blue sky just a few clouds of gray
So good to be living on such a nice day.
