Night At The Nest Poem by Ima Ryma

Night At The Nest

Rating: 4.0

Mister and Missus Owl await
The hatching of their family.
It is in night time very late.
Missus Owl watches from the tree,
Where they have their nest safe and high,
Watching for Mister Owl to
Return in moonlight from his fly
Of hunting food for Missus who
Stays at home protecting their nest.
Mister Owl returns from his roam.
They both do eat, then both do rest,
Snuggled together in their home.

From their eggs, owlets will hatch soon
By the light of the next full moon.

Love birds and their lives, their stories. They symbolize, life and freedom, goodness and song. And like poets, most, try to do no wrong! Loved this poem
