Night Lady Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Night Lady

Rating: 5.0

A lady of the night
Walking the streets
Looking for clients
To make ends meet
Put her life in danger
Night after night
Watched by her pimp
Counting her clients
Got hooked on drugs
She knew it all
To pay for her habit
Reduced down to this
Pimp took her earnings
Gave her a fix
A vicious circle
No way out

Extremely well said, it's exactly what happens to an innocent young girl who doesn't know what she's getting herself into. Very tragic predicament for sure. Give it a 10! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Mankind has Made it so! Because, we love sin than the truth. Leading to all the diseases around us today. Thanks for sharing.
