No Desperate Sadness Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

No Desperate Sadness

Rating: 5.0

No, no, not at all I am worried,
No desperate sadness I have,
Because I know everything
In this material world is temporary,
Power, prestige, wealth and fame,
Everything comes and goes away,
Ranking also comes and goes away,
Just I have noted down few dates,
To memories back these in future,
With no definite purpose,
However ranks will be past soon,
I do not attach my mind
In any temporary material thing,
You have a misconception,
Neither have I interest in showing,
Nor have I sadness in losing,
I have no desire for something,
No hopeless sense I have,
I am in cheerful mood of penning,
No pain I get if rank goes down,
No happiness I get if rank comes up,
I am in a state of equilibrium,
No desperate sadness captures me!

Hiding your own identity under cloud
You use any pseudo name to ask me
But I know who are you,
Pop-up has become your playground,
I am true lightening of peace and
You are false thunder, a big blunder,
I spark very fast and you roar later,
You harass many poets hiding under bush,
You have desperate movement,
Hopeless you have become and
You are jealous towards many,
You must remember, success is temporary,
Every material gain is perishable,
Success comes and goes away,
It never stays permanently,
I never attach my mind in any success!

Nothing happens to sun if you dislike,
You have no power to stop sunrise or
Sunset or any natural law that works,
Obeying the law of creation
Sun perfectly works at right time,
Giving rays to all creatures and trees
Sun empowers grass and roots
And sun pours beam over anything
That you cannot imagine,
Dear ultrasonic, qualified but ignorant roar,
If you do not understand God's laws,
You must surrender before heavenly father
And you learn the values from sun,
Natural door is opened for you!
I feel the glee and eternal bliss
Remaining with God and nature,
No, no, not at all I have desperate sadness!

I am in a state of equilibrium, No desperate sadness captures me! .....................! This is the right attitude to life! Never get unduly excited by success nor dourly weighed down by despair over failures. One who knows that success and failures are all temporary and nothing will last for ever, it is easier to face anything in life with equanimity of mind. A beautiful poem!
