No Longer Curious Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

No Longer Curious

Reaching deeply into this being are feelings of another who
wants to take this heart and hold onto it in his arms, but
never his heart.

This mind wants nothing to do with its advances, preferring
to be left alone, freedom only wished for, tired of being a
slave to an abusive lover's heart.

Breaking free of horrendous feelings, having been torn into
pieces throughout the years, wonder and curiosity no longer
curious about any heartfelt attitudes of a selfish person.
