(no Longer) Unbelievable Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

(no Longer) Unbelievable

No longer unbelievable,
How lies to tell can bring eyes to cry.
No longer unbelievable,
How fast they are told faster to deny...
The facts.
Truth.
To criticize.

Facts to minimize them to hide.
Seldom lay down to die.

These are not the days to live life...
Fantasized.
These are not the days to be,
Afraid to face reality.
These are not the days to live life...
Challenging the truth to excuse,
The proof of it to be refused.

Facts to minimize them to hide.
Seldom lay down to die.

No longer unbelievable,
Are the facts.

No longer unbelievable,
Are the ones who kept truth....
Denied and attacked.

Facts to minimize them to hide.
Seldom lay down to die.

No longer unbelievable,
Are the people who kept truth...
Denied and attacked.

No longer unbelievable to live like that.
To run from the facts.
No longer unbelievable to want them more.
No longer unbelievable to want them more.
