No More A-Peeling Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

No More A-Peeling

Time was, some nuts found it appealing,
And then temptingly worth a-peeling,
Art was art in days old—
Not whatso that gets sold,
Today what gets space-time is art spring!

A nut of an artist once took a live banana and taped it on to the art gallery's wall. And lo, it became a novel art statement! Another nutty art aficionado felt it was worth buying for $120000. One more nut then picked it up from the wall and ate it in full public gaze. People it seems have not still recovered from the shock as this cartoon suggests.
