He saw her photograph,
And fell for her beauty.
Somehow managed to get her contact,
And he became servant of her thoughts.
They exchanged few messages,
Love transmitted through wireless satellite.
She found comfort in him,
And he found comfort with her.
Country demanded visa formalities,
Religion demanded conversion.
With this hassle heart got strangulated,
What visa and why conversion?
When dreams can travel and spirits can travel,
Why can’t two hearts?
Her heart left the body,
And so did his heart,
Both met at cosmic point,
To live for eternal -time.
This kind of a love story (with minor changes here and there) but with far more fatal denouement has been read and seen and commented upon since ancient times. This is something very tragic but the walls built by our society remain insurmountable. The way you have presented it makes it extremely poignant. Thanks, Md. Asim ji. Country demanded visa formalities, Religion demanded conversion.
Ishq na puchche deen dharam ishq na puchche zat, yes, love doesn't requires a passport or visa, but to materialize it in m a marriage, it has to cross so many human made obstacles.......................10
