Normal - Poem by speech writerx

I first lose ground, then I lose everything

Bodies melt ageist the pavement as the dripping pavement homogeneously mimics
the sun. I thought it was yesterday I saw you standing here,
but it was only psychosis.
Tainted in spilled sex and wine coolers from last night “ party” I thought I smelled love,
but it was only my self-image shape shifting like a spirit animal.
You and me, together…our own soulful wolf.
It has lit the flame of the toxicity of my anger like THC making my heart race
Pound and then crack- I go to waste.
I can feel my mind remember nothing about you, you have said so much
nothing important… you are so pompous yet so modest.
“Who are you to tell me so much? ”
access me to what I don’t want anymore
I never wanted to be alone with you dying in the heat

I first lose ground, then I lose everything
