Not Every Question Has An Answer Poem by Savita Tyagi

Not Every Question Has An Answer

Rating: 5.0

December is ending
Ground is frozen.
Cold, brown and wrinkled leaves,
Reminiscence of fall-
Still scattered around.

Secrets of spring buried deep in earth's heart.
Trees are empty of bird's songs.
A red bird still comes to sit on fence.
The geese still fly in the morning and evening
Their noise still wakes up the sleepy sky.
In silence I digest the landscape.
Away from self conversing mind
The view offers an escape.

So many question the mind can put
But no entitled to have all the answers……
Better to put these questions to sleep
Like one puts a dear one to rest,
For eternal sleep…..

So much left unsaid, plenty is left undone
Many thoughts collide …..
What exists and what not…..
Dream, illusion, reality!
When the Light from eyes leaves,
Nothing of matter is left to hold on to…..
The bird free from cage
In open vast, for short visible like a fading dot!
Its existence recedes in the memory.

The year ends. With it ends a chapter of our life.Life poses many questions, but we never get answers to some questions.---A marvelous poem with deep philosophical thought.
