Not free at all

How can I be called free bird?
without realizing the words!
what kind of restrictions have been placed?
why should it be faced at all?

the sky is not meant for me
to feel free
in this world
as we face untold miseries

how can you uproot our nests?
and still think it is in the best interest
when forests are diminishing!
it is finishing our existence too

it is applicable to human beings too
what are they doing?
claiming only rights but not adhering to duties
causing inconvenience for self and others too

even liberal countries impose restrictions
impose heavy penalties by taking stiff actions
on other side too exists same situation
we humans have tendencies to worsen

world may thus go on
with no respect shown
towards nature and living beings
it can be called our misdoings
