Not Our Daily Living Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Writing poems is never mentioned
as our daily living,
never aimed to live from the sold poem books,
but
I noticed that everyone is writing,
whether that be a poem or not
it depends on the talents you got,

I noticed that I write poetry next to my profession
what I never mentioned
this is not my poetical instinct
but my subtle values of daily occurrences
and so have I become, based upon subtle intuition,
the dutch poetess
descendant of an oriental princess
my true zest
