Not To Grieve

Not to grieve
Thursday,20th August 2020

Why grieve over past?
that has unpleasantly lasted,
for very long years
creating the hell and fears

each day, I died several times
With the commitment of no crime
no ill-will against anyone
yet present time proved a fruitless one

why was I not spared from this agony?
why was the mind flooded with so many thoughts?
and it had nothing to do with my present!
I tried to push them away from the self and conscience

Idle mind occupies with unrelated things
and tries to bring
great disturbances
and miss the golden chance

the life we live
and still, believe
that some miracles should take place unexpected
and remove the stage of ill-fated feelings
