Note To: Cliven Bundy Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Note To: Cliven Bundy

Rating: 5.0

The rules of life
Do not change
Just because you're old

None of us
Are truly free
We, are all locked in
By the society that binds us

If you must fight
Fight with the pen
Let Gandhi be your guide
To that end

If you have a moment
Listen to the poem
'The Child's Been Radicalised'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This came to me early this morning as I listened to the news. I feel I'm more of a poet of 'Current Events'. written: 6am,12 February 2016.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A few strangers are more polite to you when you are older: most are not. My only way to protest is with the pen, with an unknown impact on others. I feel about the same amount of freedom now, compared to when I was young.

What? Just because I'm old I can't have a new set of rules? Where's some federal building I can go occupy?
