Now And Then Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Now And Then

Musing in the mid-day sun
Afloat infinite fuzzy thoughts
Human ingenuity seems endless
As we plough through uncertain clouds
Cirrus, nimbostratus, all race by unnoticed
Wary of the threats paused by thunder and lightning
Through the window of faith
The future is a sky full of seas and mountains of splendor unseen
Who can imagine a future through a thunderstorm cloud
My life exactly in the now and then
Where farmlands belie the barrenness in their beauty
Rivers of morality twist and twirl
Through the valleys of our thoughts
They proceed to the sea of abundance
Well it's all a twirl, all a twist and life is all turns
