In the ocean of life, realities will sometimes strike
taking us to the bottom of an ocean bed
drowning our dreams, vanishing our expectations;
yet the courageous will rise, swim up and survive
to resume the marvel of life and hopes;
they will dive again when sorrow or grief invades,
but their hearts will heal and their courage will return eventually;
nothing will drown a person who has to live,
who has to pursue the invincible truth
for life itself is an ocean which cannot retrogade
the winner, the chaser of justice from his journey
in which he spends hours and years
to determine the ones who deserve to inherit
the lustre of his heirship over dignity and morality,
over sin and crime, over destruction and conscience.
