October Thoughts Poem by Matthew Holloway

October Thoughts

Soft the morning dew
A kiss upon the earth
Gently greets the morning
Illuminated by the sun

Hard the early frost
Gripping the earth
As the day comes to light
Through the fog of night

Seasons come and go
Flowers bloom and wilt
Birds sing and leave
And in all of this always
Will be you and me
