Ode To My Butterfly Poem by Anugo J. Edoka

Ode To My Butterfly

Rating: 5.0

I had watched my hands of this madness,
But the colors of your wings trace my every step,
From thousand miles away,
Keeping me awake,
Sending me to sleep,
Waking me again.
Men plough fruits,
With you, I feel I planted a flower,
Rush should the day,
For that long awaited kiss,
Sitting side by side,
Holding the entirety of you,
To kickstart the beginning of forever.
Am the kingdom for princess to have;
Moments of songs to never leave your side,
To wake to your devilish but godly smile,
So do fly away and back to me, Butterfly.
