Offended Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Offended

Too often.
Those protected,
From being offended.
By a censorship that prevents,
Putting a dent...
To their distant intentions.
Meant to keep isolated,
From realities they implement.
Initiated to intimidate.
Aggravate with agitation!
But...
Prefer to stay away.
Sheltered under the cover up,
Of pretensions they've created.
Continuing a slow decay.
One that makes,
A quality of life to observe...
Kept stunted.
Until the doing ruins,
Mentalities to perceive...
All has been fictioned.
