I was the sandcastle.
You were the sea.

Claiming you were madly
in love with me.

They said it wouldn't last.
But oh...would I listen?

You were the sea
mastering me

with the vastness of your love
engulfing me.

They said it would end in tears.
But oh...would I listen?

And...

when you left

you left me

...nothing.
