Old Friend Poem by Thomas Plotz

Old Friend

Laying on your belly with a squint in your eyes,
Hello old friend
Well, hello old friend,

It's cloudy, yet bright
With color of white, that surrounds you,

And then, did it smell the same?
Did it taste, like our name?

While you were laying on your belly,
With a squint in your eyes
