On The Inside - Poem by Sade Craine

Lauging on the outside
crying on the inside.

Face filled with smiles
sould drowing in tears.

Believable facade
for the world to see.

On the inside I cry
Day and night, night and day.

A smile for him
a smile for her.

A tear now
a scream later.

On the inside
I dwell on what's lost.

On the outside I try
on the inside I die.

Dreams wilt and die
like flowers in winter
I try but it back fires.

So I try and laugh
but on the inside I cry....
day and night, night and day.
