On The Melting Of Snow In Spring Poem by Paige Scott

On The Melting Of Snow In Spring

Rating: 5.0

As I glanced at the last of the snow melting away,
I noticed the bright spring day;
As snow melts away, better days it brings—
Where spring sun shines, and the sparrow sings!

Nice one. I like the alliteration in the last line. It's a pity you couldn't get a good rhyme for that last line - try working on it.

Very fresh and nicely crafted. Your poem has a 'spring' in its step that lifts the spirit.
