On The Music Of Maire Brennan From Her Album Perfect Time (Homage To The Life Of St. Patrick)

Beauty beyond reckoning surges
Through and beyond the sea walls
Of our indifference
Was there ever any light that flooded you
That was random you are queried
And how can you answer that
With what should you answer
The moonlight stricken from your pathway
In small white roses appearing
Miracles flow in and around lost islets of
Song
How shall I call my soul to account
Before such music turns into
The everlasting foam
Where the singer becomes the sea surge the
Hidden ear of the wind
The timelessness the pearl dissolving
In which all tears are stilled.
