On The Road. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

On The Road.

On the road of enlightenment
Are some dark corners
Some blind bends
On the road to truth
Are vague stretches that
Subtly sort of lie to you
On the road of doubt
Sometimes the truth
Stands out blatantly
And on the road home
You may be led further away
But hey the important thing is
To just get on that road
When you are called
Simply get on.

Better to be on that road than lying in a ditch on the side…! I am off again very soon.
