On The Road To Damascus

Rating: 5.0

On the road to Damascus today,
Why'd I feel like I needed to pray?
No, it wasn't at all
like what happened to Paul,
but it seems I am changed anyway.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Damascus is a city in Montgomery County, Maryland, very near Clarksburg where I am currently staying. I finally drove into Damascus today to have a look around.
I thought of what happened to a Pharisee named Saul who had a life-changing experience on the road to a different city called Damascus. He later changed his name to Paul.

See Acts 9: 1-9, Acts 22: 6-11, and Acts 26: 9-20.

pray for me Kim .. I am emptying my PH site because it is static and I need the incentive to find a good site for limerick and cartoon comic strip if such a thing exists My Allpoetry site will remain and most of my PH is going up there (to a much more appreciative audience) they do not carry the strip unless I am willing to pay for it daily. I am not that desperate yet.

I noticed that you had deleted a bunch of poems. You used to have over 1000 and then yesterday you only had about 850. Sorry to see you leave. If AllPoetry won't let you post your strip there, why not at least leave that on this site?
